MEDIA CONTACTS

This is taken from an email from Katrin.

To facilitate writing a letter to the editor on behalf of Woody, below are
the email addresses/web links to the newspapers Keith mentioned in his
earlier email.  Please remember Keith's message:

"Keep up the pressure, be measured in your speech if you are interviewed,
and be loving in all communications. We are representatives of Woody to the
world and must come across as level-headed, non-reactionary, and kind."

The Windham County, VT  District Court calendar is
online at http://www.state.vt.us/courts/court_cal/wmd_cal.htm. We should
go to any court proceedings after the grand jury has met and show our presence.

When you write a letter via email to the editor of any of the many papers that have been reporting on Woody's death, remember to include your full name, postal address, and phone number.  Chances for publication are greatly enhanced when the editor can reach you to verify that you indeed wrote the letter.

Also, the name and address for the state's attorney for Windham County (who is in charge of the local investigation):
State's Attorney Dan M. Davis
WINDHAM DISTRICT COURT
6 Putney Road · Brattleboro, VT 05301
Phone (802) 257-2800

The Attorney General's Chief of the Criminal Division is Cindy Maguire.  I believe she is in charge of the Attorney General's investigation.  Her address is

Cindy Maguire
Office of the Attorney General of Vermont
109 State Street, Montpelier VT 05609-1001

Phone (802) 828 3171
I spoke with Woody's parents this morning. They are aware of some of their legal options and plan to obtain the guidance of an attorney soon.
I'd like to suggest that we  let the State's Attorney, Mr. Davis, and the Attorney General, Mr. Sorrell of our on-going interest in their investigation ( In other words: "we're watching you and we aint going away") and let the administrative/criminal system run its course. I know Davis personally and Sorrell by reputation; they are decent people.
Further, a civil suit needs to wait until after the dust has settled a bit.  There is plenty of time for Paul and Joanne to sort out how they want to handle this.
For those of you who are interested:
